I see that everyone is obsessed with the fact that Lee can stand on water. I think I know how he can:

1. Everyone in the show has chakra. It is the life force of the person. Even people that are not ninja have chakra, but they cannot use it because they have not been trained to. They do not have a built up chakra network.

2. Lee has some sort of problem where he cannot focus his chakra into Ninjutsu, so that is why he is a taijutsu specialist. This does not mean that he does not have chakra because has I have just said, everyone has it, even the ones that are not ninja.

Maybe through a little hard work Gai taught him how to focus just enough of his chakra so that he could at the very least walk on water. I hope this is a very reasonable explanation. It is the best that I can think of.

lee doesn’t have the ability of standing on water and more chakra techniques but how did he?? hmm complicated

and have you noticed , ten ten’s weapons never really stop anyone, probably because the creator knows that dying by puny weapons doesnt give a dramatic or epic feel. :\
